  • On-site, Remote, Hybrid
    • London, Greater London, United Kingdom
  • £40,000 - £55,000 per year
  • Operations

This role has global scope, flexibility, real ownership, and direct exposure to senior leadership — ideal for someone looking to step into a high-impact partnerships role with room to grow.

Job description

We’re hiring a Founder’s Associate to work directly with the CEO at VenueScanner.

This role is designed for someone who wants maximum exposure, responsibility and learning inside a fast-growing marketplace business — and who thrives on solving messy problems, moving fast, and owning outcomes.

You’ll operate as an extension of the Founder: identifying the biggest opportunities or bottlenecks facing the business, turning them into structured plans, and driving execution across teams.

A significant part of the role will focus on growth and partnerships, but the scope is intentionally broad. This is a role for someone who wants to understand how a company actually grows and operates — commercially, operationally and strategically.

The core goal of this role is:
👉 Increase the Founder’s leverage by owning and executing the company’s highest-impact initiatives.

  • Leading partner discussions, negotiations and deal execution

  • Owning partnerships end-to-end: idea → agreement → launch → optimisatio

This is a hands-on, outcomes-driven role — you’re expected to make partnerships actually work, not just get them signed.

  • Market expansion or international growth analysis

  • New revenue streams or commercial experiments

  • Strategic supplier, platform or product relationships

  • Drive momentum and unblock issues quickly

  • Own projects from zero → live → iterated

  • Create simple playbooks so successful initiatives can scale

You won’t have a large team — you’ll lead through clarity, influence and follow-through.

Performance, Insight & Learning

  • Track performance across growth, revenue and operational metrics

  • Share clear, structured updates with the Founder and leadership team

  • Identify what’s working, what isn’t, and why

  • Translate learnings into repeatable frameworks and playbook

Skills & Experience

  • 3–7+ years’ experience in consulting, high-growth startups, strategy, operations, growth or commercial roles
